Many cases which would otherwise be resolved in civil or administrative courts may be extended to involve criminal litigation. Libel and other forms of personal and trade defamation, as well as perjury, are often brought in the criminal courts simultaneously with civil claims. Litigants will often also resort to the criminal courts in relation to industrial accidents, as well as insolvency-related claims for debts to the state and social insurance institutions. Criminal litigation experience is therefore frequently needed even in apparently commercial disputes.

Our criminal law team has been actively operating since 1990 and undertakes cases in all specialties of criminal law, having its principal focus on white-collar crime, providing services to insurance undertakings, banks, major international and national firms, as well as independent authorities and individuals. Our expert team regularly handles a wide range of cases (indicatively fraud, embezzlement, bribery, money laundering, corruption, tax evasion, breaches of trust and competition), either acting for the plaintiff or the defendant, representing clients before all stages of criminal proceedings and courts of all levels, as well as extradition proceedings and investigations that cross jurisdictional borders.
